What LegitSponsor is
LegitSponsor analyzes sponsorship emails and related content you submit and returns a risk assessment: a verdict, the evidence behind it, an estimated fair rate, and suggested next steps. It is operated by LegitSponsor (legitsponsor.com).
Risk assessment, not a guarantee
Verdicts are automated assessments based on the evidence available at the time of the check. They are not legal, financial, or business advice, and they are not a guarantee that an email is safe or unsafe. Scammers adapt; new patterns appear before any tool catches them. You stay responsible for your decisions, and for anything involving money, account access, or contracts you should verify independently through the brand's official channels.
Your account
You need a real email address to create an account. You are responsible for what is submitted through your account and your forwarding address. One person per account; plans and limits are enforced server side.
Acceptable use
- Do not submit content you have no right to share.
- Do not probe, overload, or attempt to bypass the service's limits or security.
- Do not use the service to harass anyone or to build a competing dataset.
We can suspend accounts that break these rules.
Payments
Paid plans are billed through Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. You can cancel any time from your account; access runs to the end of the paid period. Prices can change with notice before your next renewal.
Content you submit
You keep all rights to content you submit. You give us the limited license needed to analyze it, show you the results, and operate the service, under the retention rules in the privacy policy. Published scam database entries are our own editorial work and never reproduce your private submissions.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for losses caused by acting on, or ignoring, a verdict.
Changes
We can update these terms; material changes are announced by email or on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the update.
